PM Modi Announces Ex Gratia for Victims of Tragic Chamoli Electrical Accident

New Delhi, 20th July. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced ex gratia for the victims of Chamoli electrical accident.

A PMO tweet informed, “An ex gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each of those who lost their lives in the tragic mishap in Chamoli. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000: PM @narendramodi”

Fifteen people were electrocuted and several injured in an accident at a power transformer at a Namami Gange project site on the banks of the Alaknanda River in Chamoli district, an official informed on Wednesday.
