New Delhi, 6th Jan. Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles Piyush Goyal on Friday unveiled the logo and booklet for the Mega Mobility show, Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024.
During the curtain raiser program held in New Delhi, the Minister emphasized the whole-of-government approach introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has propelled India into a new era of innovative thinking and holistic working methods.
Goyal urged the auto industry to aim for at least a 50% export share, rather than limiting themselves to 25%.
He encouraged industry stakeholders to adopt a proactive approach to seize opportunities in the global economy, highlighting the vast potential for Indian businesses to capture large world markets. He also praised the collaborative spirit prevalent across sectors, emphasizing its role in driving the best outcomes while fostering healthy competition.
The Minister emphasized the significance of these mega exhibitions, noting their international scale and ambition. The exhibitions aim to showcase India’s strengths to the global market and position the country as an international player across industries.
With the goal of substantially increasing India’s share in global exports, the Minister urged the industry to strive for greater excellence and performance on the global stage.
The prestigious event, Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, is scheduled to be held from February 1-3, 2024, at the state-of-the-art Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The event will also include 13+ conferences with participation from global experts. The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 represents a pivotal moment in the mobility sector, showcasing India’s dedication to engineering excellence and sustainable solutions.
It will feature leading vehicle manufacturers unveiling new models and electric vehicles, as well as over 400 auto component manufacturers and 1000+ brands from global markets. The event will also have dedicated country pavilions and international participation from various countries.
Additionally, it will showcase the participation of major battery manufacturers and EV infrastructure service providers.
The event will also host the CEO Conclave, where visionary leaders will gather to discuss the future trajectory of the mobility industry. NASSCOM will showcase India’s automotive software capabilities, advanced technology capabilities, and innovation ecosystem.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 is an industry-led and government-supported initiative coordinated by the Engineering Export Promotion Council India (EEPC India) with the joint support of various industry bodies.
The curtain raiser event was attended by officials from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, supporting ministries and industry associations, automotive sector industry leaders, representatives of foreign embassies and missions, knowledge partners, and stakeholders, as well as the press and media.
