New Delhi, 17th Jan. Union minister Anurag Thakur slammed the Congress and other opposition parties for their absence at the Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. Thakur said that people might boycott these parties for their decision.
Thakur, along with Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva, participated in the cleaning of the Valmiki temple premises as part of the BJP’s “Swachhata Sewa” program, ahead of the “pran pratishtha” ceremony on January 22.
“They boycotted the new Parliament building and the prime minister’s address, and people boycotted them. Now, they think they can boycott the pran pratishtha ceremony, but people might boycott them again,” Thakur stated.
Thakur accused the Congress and its alliance partners of consistently denying the existence of Lord Ram and hurting the sentiments of Hindus.
Although opposition leaders are distancing themselves from the temple consecration ceremony, Thakur believes they will eventually have to surrender to Lord Ram.
Furthermore, Thakur mentioned that many Congress leaders are disregarding former party chief Rahul Gandhi and attending the “pran pratishtha” ceremony in Ayodhya.
