New Delhi, 30th Aug: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday, during which the two leaders discussed recent developments related to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and ways to deepen bilateral ties.

President Zelenskyy shared his perspective on the latest situation in Ukraine. In response, PM Modi reiterated India’s consistent stance in favour of dialogue and diplomacy, stressing the need for a peaceful settlement of the conflict and extending India’s full support for efforts aimed at the earliest restoration of peace.

The leaders also reviewed the progress of the India-Ukraine partnership and explored avenues to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade, technology, and humanitarian assistance.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to remain in regular contact and to further build upon their growing bilateral engagement.
