Jana Sena Party (JSP) president Pawan Kalyan held a meeting with Former minister and MP Konatala Ramakrishna in Visakhapatnam on Sunday to deliberate on the current political developments in Uttarandhra.

Following the discussion with the senior leader, Pawan Kalyan stated, “We discussed the current political developments and the development of Uttarandhra,” highlighting the focus of their conversation.

The meeting between Pawan Kalyan and Konatala Ramakrishna, which extended for over an hour, saw the latter emphasizing the necessity for stakeholders at various levels, from the Panchayat to the Delhi Sabha, to be well-informed.

Konathala Rama Krishna suggested to Pawan Kalyan that he should consider adopting North Andhra and provided recommendations on potential constituencies for Pawan’s consideration, with further details to be revealed at an appropriate time.

“I asked Pawan Kalyan to adopt North Andhra and suggested where Pawan should contest from, adding that I will provide details when the time comes,” Konatala Ramakrishna informed reporters.

This meeting follows Pawan Kalyan’s visit to the residence of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravathi on February 5. The leaders engaged in extensive discussions on seat-sharing arrangements for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh polls.

Last month, both Naidu and Pawan Kalyan independently announced their candidates for two assembly seats each for the upcoming polls. Pawan announced candidates for Rajanagaram and Razole constituencies, while Chandrababu announced candidates for Araku and Mandapeta constituencies, allegedly straining the TDP-JSP alliance.

As Andhra Pradesh prepares for polls in the coming months, concurrent with the Lok Sabha elections this year, political dynamics continue to evolve.
