Panchajnaya’s ‘Baat Bharat Ki’ Confluence: Exploring India’s Culture, Economy, & Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir Journey

Panchjanya, a national weekly magazine, celebrated its 77th anniversary with the ‘Baat Bharat Ki’ Confluence program held at Hotel Ashok in Delhi on January 15, 2024.

The event included discussions on various topics such as India’s cultural and economic development, the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, and India’s progress so far. Panchjanya also released a special issue of its Hindi magazine on the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.

The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Swami Avadheshanand Giri Ji, the Mahamandaleshwar of Juna Akhara. It served as a platform for intellectual discussions, providing insights into India’s diverse dimensions and its path towards progress.

During his speech, Acharya Balkrishna, the CEO of Patanjali Ayurved, expressed his gratitude for the ongoing construction of the Bhagwan Sri Ram’s mandir in Ayodhya, considering it a momentous occasion for India. He emphasized the significance of witnessing the construction of the Ram temple and thanked those who contributed to the cause, stating that it is an integral part of Indian culture.

Acharya Balkrishna also highlighted the importance of understanding India’s global presence by knowing and comprehending world history. He mentioned that India’s culture has deep roots dating back thousands of years, and its Ayurvedic medical system gained global prominence thousands of years ago. According to him, Ayurveda serves as the foundation for many medical practices worldwide.

Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, mentioned in his address that there has been a significant increase in the number of foreign tourists after the G20 summit. He revealed that Jammu and Kashmir welcomed 211 lakh tourists this year, compared to 188 lakh last year, indicating a positive transformation in the region’s tourism scenario.

Sinha credited the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for bringing peace and development to the union territory. He praised the government’s initiatives and highlighted the shift from stones in the hands of the youth to tablets and laptops, symbolizing progress and development.

Sinha stated that the past four and a half years have witnessed the realization of dreams spanning generations. He emphasized the improvement in the standard of living for people, with today’s youth in Jammu and Kashmir holding tablets and laptops instead of stones.

Sinha added that the region has moved from darkness to light, with celebrations at Lal Chowk in English New Year symbolizing the entry of Jammu and Kashmir into the era of progress. He also mentioned that terrorism is on its last legs in Jammu and Kashmir, and the region is now associated with progress rather than gunfire.

During the ‘Aankhon Dekhi’ session of the ‘Baat Bharat Ki’ Confluence program, three journalists associated with the Ram Temple movement, Ashok Srivastava, Subhash, and Gopal Ji, shared their insights.

Gopal Sharma expressed his deep connection with the Ram Janambhoomi Ayodhya movement and mentioned being present during the demolition of the disputed Babri Mosque.

Subhash shared his experience during Nehru’s government and the events surrounding the opening of the lock during Rajiv Gandhi’s government.

Ashok Srivastava, a senior journalist, recounted his coverage of the event on December 6 and described the large number of Karsevaks who gathered for the cause.

Nitishj Bharadwaj, known for his role as Bhagwan Krishna in the television series ‘Mahabharat,’ spoke during the ‘Baat Bharat Ki’ Confluence program. He highlighted the concept that every avatar comes to present certain eternal values in life, emphasizing the duality of living as Ram and Krishna in different places.

Bharadwaj also touched upon the ongoing developments in Ayodhya and the significance of one’s birthplace.

Purnima ji, the sister of the Kothari brothers who sacrificed their lives during the Kar Seva in Ayodhya, expressed her pride in witnessing the inauguration of the Ram Mandir and stated that their sacrifice was not in vain.

The confluence also featured Piyush Mishra as a prominent speaker, and the event concluded with a Q&A session with the audience.
