New Delhi, 7th July. There may soon be an end to the practice of working from anywhere, including from home, every day of the week. The hybrid model is being considered for adoption by businesses, per a survey. Instead of allowing employees to work from home, 73% of the companies polled said they want to move forward with the hybrid model. Real estate company CBRE South Asia Private Limited conducted this survey.
Companies have shifted more toward flexible work arrangements since the Kovid-19 epidemic. She wants to use a hybrid work model as a result. The health of the employees, according to 78% of the officers, was a key consideration in starting the work-from-office system again.
Arrangement of Hybrid Work
Companies are reportedly considering four different hybrid work pattern types, per the survey. These are the 4 patterns of working remotely: working from home under certain conditions; working from the office more than three days per week; working from home and working the same number of days in the office, and working remotely more than three days per week. A similar mix of working from home and the office is preferred by technology companies, or they prefer to follow a pattern where all work is done in the office. The majority of employees claim that they will make this choice while keeping sustainability and health in mind.
Office demand will increase
According to the report, 62 percent of respondents plan to expand the size of their real estate portfolio over the next three years, which is expected to lead to an increase in demand for office space. A third of those surveyed cited using coworking spaces as a component of their flexible portfolio strategy.
