Acharya Pramod Krishnam, a prominent Congress leader known for his outspokenness regarding certain party decisions, asserted on Tuesday that the opposition INDIA bloc no longer holds sway in reality.

Krishnam highlighted that the alliance encountered several challenges soon after its formation, and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, a key figure within the INDIA bloc, effectively severed ties with it.

His remarks came in response to Janata Dal (United) president Nitish Kumar’s recent return to the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance. Krishnam expressed skepticism about the continued existence of the INDIA Alliance.

“I think there is no such thing as the INDIA Alliance. When the INDIA Alliance was created, it immediately contracted a lot of diseases right after its birth. Then it went to the ICU and ventilator. Nitish Kumar performed its last rites in Patna… I don’t think it exists anymore,” Krishnam stated in an interview with news agency ANI.

Krishnam’s recent interactions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, during which he extended invitations for the foundation-laying ceremony of ‘Kalki Dham,’ have garnered attention. He also disclosed meeting Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and inviting him to the aforementioned ceremony in Sambhal district.

“I met the UP CM today and invited him to the foundation stone-laying ceremony of Shri Kalki Dham. I am confident that CM Yogi Adityanath will attend the event,” Krishnam affirmed.

When questioned about the potential attendance of opposition leaders at the foundation stone-laying ceremony, Krishnam emphasized the significance of receiving an invitation to a divine event.

He remarked, “It is fortunate to receive an invitation to ‘Bhagwan Ka Dwar.’ But not attending it after receiving the invitation is a misfortune.
