OCHA says 5 dead on Ukraine rail station attack

UNITED NATIONS – UN humanitarian and coordination agency on Tuesday said that 5 civilians killed and several others injured after a wave of record civilian casualties, an overnight strike on a railway station in the city of Lozova, in Ukraine’s frontline Kharkiv region.

According to a social media post from the OCHA in Ukraine, the railway station was heavily damaged, and surrounding homes were also affected.

Media reports stated the attack triggered fires across the city and disrupted rail traffic in Lozova, a strategically important transport hub.

The emergency assistance continues with aid workers on site providing emergency repair materials and psychological support.
