Mumbai, 5th July. According to the signals constantly coming from the political parlance of Mumbai a clear impression are coming that something is brewing between the Shiv Sena and the BJP. The Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut today almost confirmed what former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis said yesterday. MP Sanjay Raut said the BJP has never been an enemy of his party albeit both parties are on friendship terms although the two political fgaints from Maharashtra are unlikely to come together for the moment.

Referring to the divorce of actor Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao, Raut said, “Look at them now. Even though they have decided to go their separate ways, they are friends. The same is the case with us. ”

Raut said, “Fadnavis has said that there is no enmity between Shiv Sena and BJP. Of course, we have differences, but that does not mean that we are enemies. We are not India and Pakistan. We still have meetings and discussions. The only thing that our political paths are different”.
However, he clarified that the two parties could never come together again. “This friendship does not mean that Shiv Sena and BJP will come together again. The Maha Vikas Aghadi government will complete its five-year term. ”

The statements of the two leaders have come amid reports of turmoil in the MVA government (Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress) over the past few days and may have deep political implications. Earlier, chief minister Uddhav Thackeray’s long meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also sparked a lot of speculation. However, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, NCP chief Sharad Pawar and several other leaders of the coalition government have dismissed speculation and expressed confidence that their government is stronger than ever.
