Noida, 17th Jan. All schools in Noida and Greater Noida will start at 10 am from January 18 for classes from nursery to 8 due to the cold weather conditions, officials announced on Wednesday.
This change in timing will remain in effect until further notice from the district administration, according to Rahul Panwar, the Basic Education Officer of Gautam Buddh Nagar.
Panwar stated in an order that this decision was made in compliance with the instructions given by the District Magistrate, considering the dense fog and extreme cold.
The order also emphasized the need for strict enforcement.
Classes from nursery to 8 were previously suspended until January 16 due to the cold weather.
For students in classes 9 to 12, their school timings were changed to 10 am to 3 pm last week, as stated in a separate order issued by District Inspector of Schools Dharmveer Singh.
This timing adjustment for classes 9 to 12 will continue until January 20.
In winter, government schools in Noida typically follow a schedule of 9 am to 3 pm.
