Siwan, 24th Oct: Union Home Minister Amit Shah delivered a blistering attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) during a high-octane rally in Siwan on Friday, October 24, 2025. Addressing a massive crowd, Shah vowed that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, law and order would prevail, stating, “Even if 100 Shahabuddins come, no one can harm you.”

Shah’s remarks targeted the RJD’s decision to field Osama Shahab, son of the infamous gangster-turned-politician Mohammad Shahabuddin, from the Raghunathpur constituency in Siwan. He accused the RJD of attempting to revive the “jungle raj” era, marked by lawlessness and fear. “For 20 years, Siwan endured Shahabuddin’s terror, but the brave people never bowed down,” Shah asserted.

The Home Minister also lauded Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for eradicating the “jungle raj” and restoring peace and development in Bihar. He emphasized that the upcoming assembly elections were a choice between the era of lawlessness and the current government’s focus on governance and development.

Shah further claimed that the real Diwali for Bihar would occur on November 14, the day the election results are announced, predicting a decisive victory for the NDA and a defeat for the RJD and its allies.

In his speech, Shah highlighted various welfare initiatives under the Modi government, including free rations, Ayushman Bharat health coverage, household tap connections, and direct income support for farmers. He contrasted these achievements with the alleged corruption during the RJD’s tenure, citing scams such as the fodder and land-for-jobs scandals.

The rally showed the BJP’s strategy to portray the upcoming elections as a referendum on the return of lawlessness versus the promise of development and security under the NDA. With polling scheduled for November 6 and 11, and results to be declared on November 14, the political landscape in Bihar remains charged as parties intensify their campaigns.
