Nishikant Dubey Targets Rahul Gandhi Over Gen Z Remarks

New Delhi, 19th Sept: BJP parliamentarian Nishikant Dubey on Thursday hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi after the latter praised Generation Z as defenders of democracy.

In a sharp social media post, Dubey claimed Gen Z “is against nepotism and dynastic rule,” questioning why India’s youth would “tolerate Rahul ji after Nehru ji, Indira ji, Rajiv ji, Sonia ji.” He further alleged the younger generation is “against corruption” and would “drive you away.”

Dubey also courted controversy with remarks on religious politics, saying, “He wants to make Bangladesh an Islamic nation and Nepal a Hindu nation, why won’t he make India a Hindu nation? You should prepare to leave the country, he is coming.”

The comments drew criticism for their communal undertones but gained traction among BJP supporters, with hashtags like #GenZAgainstDynasty trending online.

Political analysts said Dubey’s attack reflects the BJP’s push to win over first-time voters by framing Gen Z as intolerant of corruption and dynasty politics.

Rahul Gandhi has yet to respond to Dubey’s remarks, which have further fuelled the battle for India’s digitally active youth electorate.
