Mumbai, 23rd Dec: Nikhil Kamath and Kishore Biyani have joined hands to launch The Foundery, a residential business launchpad designed to support early-stage startups and first-time founders in India.
Billed as a 90-day immersive programme, The Foundery aims to transform aspiring entrepreneurs into co-founders of funded, launch-ready ventures within three months. The initiative will operate out of Alibaug in Maharashtra and focuses on guiding participants from idea validation and product-market fit to investment readiness and capital access.
The programme brings together a strong lineup of mentors from India’s startup, investment, corporate and academic ecosystem. Key mentors include Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Kunal Bahl, and noted business strategist Rama Bijapurkar.
Other mentors associated with The Foundery include Mithun Sacheti, Varun Berry, Aakash Chaudhry, brand expert Santosh Desai, Prashanth Prakash, AI entrepreneur Aakrit Vaish, and venture capitalist Karthik Reddy, among others.
According to the founders, The Foundery is designed to bridge the gap between ideas and execution by offering structured mentorship, peer learning, real-world problem solving, and direct exposure to capital. The initiative reflects a growing push to create institution-like platforms that can systematically nurture India’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
With India’s startup ecosystem maturing rapidly, The Foundery positions itself as a high-intensity launchpad aimed at accelerating innovation, reducing early-stage failure, and building scalable, investment-ready businesses from day one.
