New Delhi, 7th June: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a supplementary chargesheet against five individuals, including designated terrorist and gangster Goldy Brar, in connection with the 2024 twin bomb blasts at two clubs in Gurugram, Haryana.
The chargesheet names Canada-based gangster Satinderjit Singh alias Goldy Brar, who is also wanted in several other terror and criminal cases, along with four others — Sachin Talyan, Ankit, Bhavish, and US-based Ranjit Singh alias Ranjit Malik.
According to the NIA, Brar and Malik are currently absconding, while the other three accused have already been arrested and are in judicial custody.
The charges have been filed under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Arms Act, Explosive Substances Act, and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Investigators allege that the accused were involved in orchestrating the blasts as part of a broader terror-extortion network being operated from overseas.
The Gurugram club blasts, which triggered panic and drew national attention in 2024, are part of a series of criminal activities linked to Goldy Brar’s growing international footprint. His name has also surfaced in other high-profile cases, including targeted killings and cross-border arms smuggling.
Officials said the investigation into the broader network is ongoing and further arrests may follow.
