Jammu, 1st Nov. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh inaugurated the Mata Saraswati Auditorium at Gandhi Memorial Camp College, emphasizing the transformative goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in meeting the demands of a modern India.
Dr. Singh noted that NEP 2020 empowers students to pursue educational paths aligned with their talents, independent of external pressures.
Dr. Singh highlighted India’s advancements in education, science, and technology, encouraging teachers to nurture students’ unique abilities to contribute to the nation.
He praised India’s global standing as the third-largest startup ecosystem, urging educators to foster students’ entrepreneurial spirit by guiding them toward startup initiatives and technology-driven learning.
Addressing the country’s new entrepreneurial avenues, the minister announced upcoming national startup exhibitions to raise awareness and foster interest.
A startup exhibition in Srinagar is slated to spotlight successful ventures like J&K’s ‘Purple Revolution’ in lavender farming, which has gained international recognition and bolstered local economic growth.
