New Delhi, 3rd Aug: NDTV, one of India’s most prominent news networks, announced a consolidated revenue increase of nearly 15% year-on-year for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026. The network reported a revenue of Rs 107.65 crore for the quarter ending June 30, a robust performance attributed to strong audience engagement across its digital and television platforms, strategic editorial investments, and a renewed focus on innovation.

However, despite the positive revenue growth, the company’s financial report also indicated a widening total comprehensive loss, which grew to Rs 70.65 crore for the quarter. This compares to a loss of Rs 47.46 crore in the same period last year.

The company’s strong top-line performance was bolstered by its coverage of major national events, including the Pahalgam terror attack and the Ahmedabad air crash. According to the network, its swift and credible journalism on these and other key events reinforced its position as a go-to news source, driving record viewership across both its broadcast and digital channels.

In line with its long-term vision, NDTV has restructured its operations to create a more agile newsroom. The network has also bolstered its editorial team by onboarding a distinguished group of veteran journalists and acclaimed anchors.

The first quarter also saw the launch of two key initiatives: NDTV Marathi Manch and NDTV India Creators Manch. These platforms are designed to amplify new voices and narratives, from changemakers in Maharashtra to innovators in India’s booming creator economy. The company stated that these strategic moves are key to its transformation into a multi-platform media powerhouse, setting the stage for sustainable growth and a leadership role in the future of Indian news and storytelling.
