Mumbai, 19th April. Supriya Sule, a Lok Sabha member of the Nationalist Congress Party, has stated that there will be two huge political “blasts” within the next 15 days, one in Delhi and one in Maharashtra.
She made the remarks when reporters questioned her on Tuesday about Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi chairman Prakash Ambedkar’s assertion that the state will see political “blasts” in the next 15 days.
“There will be one in Delhi and one in the state,” Supriya Sule, daughter of NCP chief Sharad Pawar, said without going into further detail.
Notably, senior NCP politician Ajit Pawar, Sharad Pawar’s nephew, declared on Tuesday that he would work for his party as long as he lives and dismissed rumours that he and a group of MLAs loyal to him might join the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
When asked about Ajit Pawar’s next political move, dissatisfaction, and closeness to the BJP, Sule replied, “What has happened is that for any development, my brother (Ajit Pawar) is held responsible. Everybody talks about a coin that is in demand in the market.”
In response to concerns that some MLAs are “unreachable,” she stated that being out of range does not mean a person is unreachable.
In response to allegations that 40 NCP MLAs were ready to accompany Ajit Pawar, Sule stated that Sharad Pawar, Ajit Pawar, and NCP state president Jayant Patil are available to all MLAs around the clock, and she also speaks with the lawmakers.
“If there is anyone who is disgruntled, we would come to know about it. If there is a shred of truth in your reports and I come to know from you (media) that certain MLAs are disgruntled, I will definitely talk to them,” she said.
