Satna, 23rd July: Tributes were paid across various locations including Dhawarra, Satna, and New Delhi, on Sunday, July 20, to commemorate the birth centenary of the great Karma Yogi, Pandit Ganesh Prasad Mishra, affectionately known as ‘Dadda Ji’. Admirers offered floral tributes and pledged to follow the path he illuminated.

Dadda Ji Dedicated Life to Economic Empowerment: Dr. Rakesh Mishra
Dr. Rakesh Mishra, President of the Pt. Ganesh Prasad Mishra Seva Nyas, paid homage to Dadda Ji at his residence in New Delhi. Among those who offered their respects were MLA Mahoba Rakesh Goswami, Smt. Archana Chitnis, Balendra Gautam, District Vice President Rewa Manisha Pathak, Smt. Anjana Tiwari Satna, Shri Sunil Yadav, Manisha Singh Satna, Dr. Rajesh Mumbai, Malti Mishra Chhatarpur, Durga Dixit Tikamgarh, Gopal Rai Tikamgarh, alongside renowned social workers and intellectuals from across the country. They remembered the new benchmarks Dadda Ji set in the field of social service on his birth anniversary.

Dr. Rakesh Mishra emphasized, “Dadda Ji’s life was dedicated to making farmers, youth, and laborers economically self-reliant.”

Free Health Camp Organised in Satna
127 Patients Examined, 98 Received Free Medicines
As part of the birth centenary celebrations, a health camp was organized behind the airstrip in the Seva Basti area of Satna. This camp specifically catered to economically disadvantaged patients who are unable to afford treatment at larger hospitals. Under Dr. Rakesh Mishra’s ‘Apka Hospital – Aapke Dwar’ (Your Hospital – At Your Doorstep) initiative, health check-ups are conducted daily for residents of various service communities. Through a mobile free hospital, 127 patients received health examinations, and 98 patients suffering from common ailments were provided with free medicines.

Tree Plantation at Amrit Park, Satna
To mark the auspicious occasion of Dadda Ji’s birth centenary, environmental enthusiasts participated in a tree plantation drive at Amrit Park near the airstrip in Satna, under the “Apna Sapna Hara Bhara Satna” (Our Dream, Green Satna) campaign. Participants resolved to plant trees on their own birthdays and those of their parents, reaffirming their commitment to environmental protection.

Dadda Ji Dedicated His Entire Life to Serving the Needy: Shri Ram Richhariya
Shri Ram Richhariya, a worker of the Seva Nyas, informed that a large number of people gathered at Dadda Ji’s birthplace to pay homage on his birth anniversary. He stated, “Our revered Dadda Ji dedicated his entire life to environmental protection and serving the needy. ‘Nar Seva Hi Narayan Seva Hai’ (Service to humanity is service to God) – with this spirit, all of us workers of the Seva Nyas pledge to follow the path shown by him.”
