New Delhi, 15th Jan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid glowing tributes to the valour, dedication and supreme sacrifices of the Indian Army on the occasion of Army Day.
Saluting the indomitable spirit of the soldiers, the Prime Minister said that the jawans guarding the nation’s borders under the harshest conditions are living symbols of selfless service and national pride. He said their unwavering commitment continues to inspire confidence, unity and gratitude among citizens.
In a series of posts on X, PM Modi said, “On Army Day, we salute the courage and resolute commitment of the Indian Army. Our soldiers stand as a symbol of selfless service, safeguarding the nation with steadfast resolve, at times under the most challenging conditions.”
He also remembered the brave martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty and reaffirmed the nation’s eternal gratitude for their sacrifices.
Sharing a Sanskrit Subhashitam, the Prime Minister highlighted the timeless values of courage, discipline and devotion to duty that define the Indian armed forces, reiterating that the country will always remain indebted to its soldiers for protecting the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.
