New Delhi, 8th March: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended his greetings to the nation on the occasion of International Women’s Day, praising the strength, determination and achievements of India’s Nari Shakti.

In a message shared on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said women across the country are making significant contributions in every field and are playing a crucial role in shaping India’s progress.

“Across every field, women are shaping India’s progress with determination, creativity and unmatched zeal. Their achievements inspire our nation and strengthen our collective resolve to build a Viksit Bharat,” Modi said.

The Prime Minister highlighted that empowering women remains a central focus of several government schemes and initiatives aimed at ensuring inclusive development.

He said the government is committed to creating opportunities that enable women to realise their full potential and contribute meaningfully to the country’s growth.

“Empowerment of women is at the core of our various schemes and initiatives. We remain committed to creating opportunities that enable every woman to realise her full potential,” Modi said.

Modi also emphasised that the achievements of Indian women are a source of pride for the nation and reflect the transformative role they play in nation-building.

He noted that the aspirations and contributions of women will continue to guide India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the positive impact of various initiatives implemented over the past decade aimed at empowering women at the grassroots level.

Through his message, PM Modi reaffirmed that women-led development remains a key pillar of India’s progress and the vision of Viksit Bharat.
