Promising transformative changes, Lokesh emphasized that these guarantees would be the cornerstone of TDP’s agenda if elected to power.
Lokesh declared that under the leadership of TDP and the Jana Sena alliance, Andhra Pradesh would witness the creation of 20 lakh jobs for the youth, coupled with a monthly unemployment allowance of ₹3,000 until employment is secured. Additionally, he pledged financial assistance of ₹15,000 per year to every school-going child through the Thalliki Vandanam scheme, and an annual subsidy of ₹20,000 to farmers under the Annadata scheme.
Furthermore, Lokesh committed to providing three free gas cylinders annually to each household under the Deepam Scheme, along with a monthly stipend of ₹1500 for women aged 18 to 59 under the Aadabidda Nidhi scheme. Ensuring women’s safety and accessibility, he promised free travel services for women in RTC buses and tap connections for purified drinking water to every household.
Criticizing the YSRCP government for neglecting the development of the Uttarandhra region, Lokesh highlighted the failure to allocate land for the Visakhapatnam Railway Zone and condemned plans to privatize the Vizag Steel Plant. Assuring swift action, he vowed that a TDP-led government would purchase the steel plant if necessary, safeguarding the interests of its employees.
Addressing local grievances, Lokesh expressed concern over the stalled flyover project near Rail Nilayam and criticized the incumbent MLA for neglecting constituency duties. Promising justice for families affected by untimely deaths and pledging inquiries into alleged corruption within the YSRCP leadership, he assured swift action within the first 100 days of TDP forming the government.
Highlighting TDP’s past contributions to Palasa’s development, Lokesh underscored the party’s commitment to progress, promising to revitalize stalled projects and prioritize the welfare of constituents.
