New Delhi, 4th Feb. Experienced BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi visited LK Advani, a longtime party colleague, at his Delhi home to congratulate him on receiving the nation’s highest honor, the Bharat Ratna
Murli Manohar Joshi expressed his gratitude to LK Advani and other tall leaders, saying he was “fortunate to have the opportunity to work with” them.
“To congratulate Lal Krishna Advani ji on receiving the Bharat Ratna, I met with him. People all around the nation are ecstatic about this choice. Joshi remarked, “I consider myself lucky to have the chance to collaborate with Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Nanaji Deshmukh, and Lal Krishna Advani.” The party grew during the 1990s, and LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi are credited with keeping the BJP in power at the federal level.
The Bharat Ratna will be awarded to BJP icon and former deputy prime minister LK Advani, according to a statement made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. PM Modi said while announcing the award that Advani’s parliamentary interventions have always been excellent and full of insightful observations.
“One of the most admired statesmen of our day, he has made a huge contribution to India’s development. His life began with grassroots labor and culminated in his current role as our Deputy Prime Minister, PM Modi stated. The 96-year-old LK Advani referred to Bharat Ratna as an “honour” for his lifetime ideals in response to the announcement.
“I take great humility and gratitude for being bestowed with the Bharat Ratna today. It is an honor for me personally as well as for the values and principles I have worked hard to uphold throughout my life,” he stated.
