Bhopal, 9th Dec: For millions of women in Madhya Pradesh, December 9, 2025, proved to be a significant day as the state government transferred the 31st installment of the Ladli Behna Scheme. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav released the amount remotely from Rajnagar in Chhatarpur district.

A total of 1.26 crore women received ₹1,500 each, reflecting the increase announced last month from the earlier monthly benefit of ₹1,250. In all, the Chief Minister transferred ₹1,857 crore directly into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.

While existing beneficiaries continue to receive enhanced payments, the government has still not announced any update regarding new registrations, leaving lakhs of eligible women waiting for an opportunity to apply. Officials have indicated that new enrollments may take more time.

Those who have not received the payment have been advised to check whether their Samagra ID e-KYC is complete and if their bank account is linked with Aadhaar. Beneficiaries who did not receive an SMS confirmation can check their payment status online.

Applicants can visit the official portal cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in, navigate to Application & Payment Status, and verify details using their registration number or Samagra ID along with an OTP sent to their registered mobile number.

The Ladli Behna Scheme remains one of Madhya Pradesh’s flagship welfare programmes, aimed at financial support and empowerment for women across the state.
