Bhopal, 8th Sept. Former Governor and senior Congress politician Aziz Qureshi has again raised questions about Congress’ ticket distribution process for the Assembly elections in 2023, as well as the recitation of Sunderkand at the Congress headquarters.
Former Governor Aziz Qureshi stated in Bhopal that there is no opposition to Congress leaders conducting katha and Sunderkand at the personal level. However, such events are not appropriate in the State Congress Committee’s office.
Aziz Qureshi said that the Congress party has not given representation to the Muslim community and nobody is paying attention to them.
He said that the Muslim section of the Congress is disappointed.
Qureshi demanded that at least 15 tickets should be given from the Muslim community in the assembly elections. Besides, 15 senior leaders of the Muslim community should be made the president of the District Congress Committee.
He added that 10 people should be made district executive president.
According to Qureshi, the party must be liberated from capitalist control. It must be transformed into a poor party. He stated that the government will be made up of farmers, poor people, and laborers.
