New Delhi, 26th July. Rich tributes were paid to the brave soldiers who were martyred in the Kargil war on Kargil Vijay Diwas on Monday ahead of the commencement of Monsoon session proceedings in both the Houses of Parliament, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

However, soon after, the opposition again created ruckus and raised the Pegasus issue in the Rajya Sabha today and the House had to be adjourned for an hour. The monsoon session of Parliament began with uproarious scenes and since then the proceedings have been disrupted on number of occasions by the opposition.

Considering the continuous distribution all eyes are on the parliament proceedings today as last week, Parliament could not function due to opposition uproar over issues including the Pegasus espionage scandal and the anti-agricultural law movement. The work could be conducted for only one day and that too for only few hours.
The monsoon session of Parliament has started from 19th July and will end on 13th August. After paying homage to the jawans martyred in the Kargil war, the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha started creating ruckus on the Pegasus issue due to which the House was adjourned for an hour.
