Modi’s Guarantee Begins Where Hope from Others Ceases to Exist: PM in Navsari

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for a series of transformative development projects valued at more than Rs 47,000 crores in Navsari, Gujarat on Thursday.

The comprehensive array of initiatives spans key sectors including power generation, rail and road infrastructure, textiles, education, water supply, connectivity, and urban development.

Addressing the gathered audience, the Prime Minister emphasized the significance of this occasion, marking his third engagement in Gujarat for the day.

Earlier engagements included interactions with cattle breeders and stakeholders in the dairy industry, as well as participation in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Valinath Mahadev Temple in Mehsana. Reflecting on Gujarat’s rich agricultural heritage and industrial prowess, Prime Minister Modi hailed the festival of development unfolding in Navsari.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to fulfilling promises, the Prime Minister referenced the ‘Five F’ strategy from his tenure as Chief Minister, aimed at creating a complete supply chain in the textile sector. He praised Surat’s emergence as a global textile hub and announced the expansion of the Silk City’s reach to Navsari. Additionally, he unveiled plans for the PM MITRA Park, a state-of-the-art textile ecosystem designed to bolster employment and innovation in the sector.

Prime Minister Modi underscored the critical importance of addressing water supply challenges, particularly in flood-prone areas like Surat, through initiatives such as the Tapi River Barrage project. He also lauded Gujarat’s progress in power generation, highlighting the state’s transformation from frequent power cuts to a beacon of renewable energy adoption.

The Prime Minister inaugurated two indigenous pressurized Heavy Water Reactors (PHWRs) at Kakrapar Atomic Power Station, symbolizing India’s strides towards energy self-sufficiency and nuclear technology prowess.

Emphasizing inclusive development, Prime Minister Modi detailed initiatives aimed at empowering farmers, youth, and marginalized communities. He announced the PM Suryaghar Scheme to reduce household energy bills and stimulate income generation, alongside plans for the country’s first bullet train route connecting Mumbai and Surat.

Acknowledging Navsari’s agricultural heritage, particularly its renowned mango and sapodilla varieties, the Prime Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting farmers through schemes such as PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.

On the healthcare front, Prime Minister Modi highlighted efforts to combat sickle cell anemia and expand medical infrastructure in tribal regions, underscoring the government’s dedication to public health.

In his concluding remarks, Prime Minister Modi outlined a vision for the next 25 years, envisioning a prosperous Gujarat and India. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and other dignitaries joined him in affirming their commitment to realizing this vision of inclusive and sustainable development.
