GG News Bureau
Dubai, 25th July: On Friday, senior BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shattered former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s record. Modi has now served an uninterrupted 4,078 days as PM—surpassing Indira Gandhi’s 4,077 days—and becoming the second-longest serving Prime Minister in independent India.

Maurya emphasized that Modi’s political journey is entirely self-made. Without relying on a political dynasty or familial backing, Modi served 4,610 days as Gujarat’s Chief Minister and has now completed 4,078 days at the national level—a staggering total of 8,688 days in constitutional office.

Trust of the People and a Singular Democratic Journey

In a post on social platform X, Maurya praised Modi’s unique leadership, noting:

“This is not merely a number—it is a timeless imprint of the unwavering trust and affection of 140 crore Indians. In such a diverse democracy, this is truly unparalleled.”

He highlighted Modi’s initiatives for women’s empowerment and welfare schemes for the underprivileged, crediting these efforts for the deep confidence the public has placed in him. Maurya also observed that Modi has been honored by the heads of 27 nations, further validating global recognition of his leadership

Faith and Devotion: A Spiritual Note

Referencing Shravan Maas, Maurya added a devotional touch:

“We pray to Mahadev that our Prime Minister remains energetic, compassionate, and successful, so that India continues its onward march toward prosperity.”
