Modi ji has Provided 1.25 Lakh Houses to the Poor in Gujarat: Amit Shah

Ahmedabad, 12th Feb. Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah inaugurated various development works of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat today.

Addressing the gathering, Amit Shah highlighted the monumental significance of the development endeavors, totaling a whopping Rs 1,950 crore, initiated in the city.

Amit Shah commended Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his visionary leadership in fostering people-oriented and holistic development across India, drawing inspiration from Gujarat’s model of progress. He underscored the transformative journey initiated by PM Modi, reflecting on the provision of 1.25 lakh houses to the underprivileged in Gujarat, a testament to the commitment towards inclusive growth.

Reflecting on PM Modi’s leadership, Amit Shah hailed the comprehensive changes witnessed across various sectors in the last decade, instilling confidence among 1.4 billion Indians that India will lead globally by 2047. He lauded PM Modi’s decisive actions, including the historic inauguration of the Ram Lala idol at the Ayodhya temple, fulfilling a centuries-old aspiration of the nation.

Amit Shah outlined the trajectory of development under PM Modi’s tenure, highlighting the consolidation of the foundation laid in the previous terms and the accelerated pace of progress in the current term. He underscored the seamless partnership between PM Modi and Gujarat’s Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in propelling the state’s development journey.

Today’s inauguration marked the culmination of various development projects, including EWS housing draws, infrastructure enhancements, and community welfare initiatives. A total of 44 projects, amounting to approximately Rs 891 crore, were inaugurated, with an additional 26 projects worth Rs 1,058 crore initiated through Bhoomi Pujan ceremonies. Notably, the Gandhinagar area witnessed investments totaling Rs 1,000 crore, contributing significantly to the region’s progress.

On the occasion of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati’s 200th birth anniversary, Shri Amit Shah paid tribute to the revered figure’s contributions to Indian culture and nationalism. Highlighting Maharishi Dayanand’s Gujarat roots, he underscored the restoration of Vedas and the promotion of patriotism initiated by the spiritual leader.

The inauguration of development projects in Ahmedabad signifies a commitment to holistic growth and underscores the collaborative efforts of the central and state governments in advancing Gujarat’s progress.
