WASHINGTON – Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday met with Foreign Minister of Egypt, Badr Abdelatty, and expressed his deep appreciation for Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s crucial role in the Gaza Peace Agreement.
Modi highlighted the growing India-Egypt Strategic Partnership, emphasizing its benefits for both the nations and the region, during their meeting, according to the PMO.
“India-Egypt Strategic Partnership continues to grow from strength to strength for the benefit of our people, our shared region, and the humanity,” PM Modi said in a post on X.
He highlighted the growing ties between the two nations.
Modi and Abdelatty meeting underscored the commitment of both countries to enhance their bilateral relations and cooperation.
The India-Egypt partnership is expected to have a positive impact on regional stability and prosperity.
Modi conveyed thanks for President Sisi for his leadership in brokering a peace agreement, showcased India’s support for regional stability.
They emphasized on the importance of regional cooperation and dialogue in addressing common challenges.
Modi expressed satisfaction at the progress being achieved in various areas of bilateral cooperation, including trade, technology, energy, defence and people-to-people ties.
