Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President MK Stalin, returning from his foreign tour aimed at attracting investments, slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday for adopting what he termed as opposition-style language and targeting the Congress party.

Stalin revealed that during his trip to Spain, various companies made investment commitments totaling ₹3,440 crore, underscoring the confidence of multinational corporations in Tamil Nadu and the DMK government.

Expressing optimism about more investors choosing Tamil Nadu as their investment destination, Stalin stated that further visits to attract investments would be scheduled only after the Lok Sabha elections.

Commenting on PM Modi’s recent address in Parliament, Stalin said he found it amusing, remarking that Modi consistently speaks as if the BJP is in the opposition and the Congress is in power. He described Modi’s behavior as puzzling and difficult to comprehend.

Responding to PM Modi’s prediction that the NDA would surpass 400 seats in the Lok Sabha, Stalin quipped that he wouldn’t be surprised if Modi claimed victory in all 543 constituencies.

Stalin also addressed Tamil actor Vijay’s potential political entry, expressing his support for anyone willing to serve the people.

Stalin had embarked on his trip to Spain on January 27 to promote investment opportunities in Tamil Nadu and returned on Wednesday morning.
