Ministry of Minority Affairs Conducts National Review Meeting on PMJVK Implementation

New Delhi:  The Ministry of Minority Affairs, under the chairmanship of Secretary Dr. Chandra Shekhar Kumar, conducted a National Review Meeting to evaluate the implementation and progress of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK) across various states, union territories, and central government organizations, including Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS).

The meeting focused on reviewing both the physical and financial status of the scheme, addressing challenges faced by different stakeholders, and enhancing Centre-State collaboration to ensure efficient execution of PMJVK in minority-concentration areas.

Officials emphasized the importance of streamlining resources, improving infrastructure, and expediting projects under the scheme to maximize its impact. Discussions also revolved around overcoming implementation bottlenecks and enhancing coordination between the central and state governments.

The PMJVK scheme aims to provide socio-economic infrastructure in minority-dominated districts to improve education, health, and skill development opportunities. The government continues to push for effective implementation to uplift underprivileged communities and ensure inclusive growth.

The review meeting marks a crucial step in assessing the progress of PMJVK and reinforcing the government’s commitment to empowering minorities through developmental initiatives.
