Minister Lok Nath Sharma Meets Robert Masih Nahar, Member of Parliament, Barcelona, Invites Him For Upcoming Sikkim Global Film Festival

New Delhi, 26th Oct. Lok Nath Sharma, Minister for Agriculture, Horticulture, AH&VS and IPR, Government of Sikkim called on Robert Masih Nahar, Member of Parliament, Barcelona, Parliamentary Group of Esquerra Republicana-Euskal Herria Bildu, Government of Spain, in New Delhi today.
Minister Sharma shared about the current scenario of Agriculture, Horticulture and Livestock farming in the state of Sikkim and discussed extending bilateral cooperation and support to benefit the farming community.
He also threw light on enormous scope of investment in various spheres of farming sector and Sports in Sikkim and assured to provide support from the state government with a sole motive to benefit the farmers and sports aspirants of Sikkim.
During this, Sharma also applauded global recognition of Spanish club football and urged the establishment of a Sports Academy in the state. Spanish Parliamentarian from Barcelona Shri Robert Masih Nahar also expressed his desire to submit a proposal before the State Government for the promotion of football and other sports activities in the state.
He further shared about the unique features and abundance of natural beauty of the himalayan State and also invited Robert Masih Nahar, MP Barcelona to attend the upcoming Sikkim Global Film Festival scheduled to be held in the second week of December 2021 in the state.
