New Delhi, 13th Aug: The Union Minister of Steel and Heavy Industries, H.D. Kumaraswamy, today unveiled the official logo, brochure, and website for ‘Bharat Steel’ at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. The launch, attended by Secretary (Steel) Shri Sandeep Poundrik and other senior officials, took place during a workshop for the secondary steel sector.
‘Bharat Steel’ is the Ministry of Steel’s flagship international conference-cum-exhibition on the steel ecosystem. The event is scheduled to be held on April 16–17, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. It is designed to bring together global industry leaders, policymakers, and technology providers to showcase India’s capabilities and promote green and sustainable steelmaking.
With a vision to become India’s largest steel exhibition, ‘Bharat Steel’ aims to position the country as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and investment in the global steel industry. The event will feature thematic sessions, sectoral roundtables, CEOs’ conferences, technology showcases, and buyer-seller meets.
