MCD’s Temporary Employees Will Be Regularized: CM Kejriwal

New Delhi, 21st Aug. Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, said on Monday that all temporary employees of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will be regularized.

He was speaking at a felicitation programme by the MCD for the timely payment of salaries to its employees.

Kejriwal stated that MCD employees have been paid on time for the last two months, and that the civic body’s tax collection has increased because “it is being ruled by an honest dispensation.”

The Chief Minister gave appointment letters to 370 newly regularized employees at the event.

According to Kejriwal, MCD employees and officers would make Delhi the “cleanest city” in the country within the next two to three years.

The people of Delhi will be associated with the ongoing cleanliness drive in the city and make it neat and clean in the next few months, he added.

The Mayor of the AAP ruled-MCD Shelly Oberoi and the Urban Development Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj were also present in the event held at Thyagraj stadium.
