New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of Himachal Diwas, celebrating the state’s rich cultural heritage and the spirit of its people.
Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister wrote, “Warm wishes to all the people of the state on Himachal Diwas. Known for its glorious culture, the brothers and sisters of this state are renowned for their hard work, talent, and bravery. May this special occasion bring happiness, prosperity, and good health to your lives and lead our Devbhoomi on the path of progress.”
Himachal Diwas is observed annually to commemorate the day when Himachal Pradesh was granted full statehood in 1971. The day marks the state’s journey of development, resilience, and cultural pride.
