Ghazipur, 10th Nov. Manoj Sinha, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor and senior BJP leader, organized a Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya in Mohanpurwa village of Mohammadabad tehsil, which was attended by several Modi government officials, Yogi government ministers, and BJP organization members.
The Sinha family has sent a clear message to the entire state that their political influence has not waned.
Following the defeat of BJP candidate Manoj Sinha in the Lok Sabha elections in 2019, the Modi government appointed him as Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, stirring up discussion not only in India but also internationally about his political personality.
Meanwhile, the BJP lost all seven seats in the district in the 2022 assembly elections, disappointing well-wishers and supporters of the Sinha family and raising concerns that it had become politically powerless. Opponents also became very vocal.
But in the midst of all of this, the Sinha family hosted the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya in Mohanpurwa, their hometown, which was attended by a number of notable individuals.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, UP Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, minister Suresh Khanna, agriculture minister Surya Pratap Shahi, transport minister Dayashankar Singh, minister Pankaj Chaudhary, Sports Minister Girish Chandra Yadav, Cooperation Minister JPS Rathore, Cabinet Minister Anil Rajbhar, Minister Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, Minority Minister Waris and thousands of VVIPs participated in the the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya.
This made it abundantly clear that the Sinha family still possesses political influence and that the BJP will formulate a plan of action in Ghazipur at his direction.
Manoj Sinha (born July 1, 1959) is an Indian politician who is the current Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
He served in the Government of India as Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Communications and as Minister of State for Railways.
Sinha was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Bharatiya Janata Party for three terms, representing Ghazipur.
After the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, Sinha ran for the position of UP Chief Minister.
