Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey Meets President Droupadi Murmu, Discusses Flood Relief Efforts

New Delhi, 17th June. Governor of Manipur, Anusuiya Uikey, paid a courtesy visit to Honorable President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. During the meeting, Governor Uikey congratulated President Murmu on the smooth and successful swearing-in ceremony of the new government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Governor Uikey briefed the President on the recent floods in Manipur and the ongoing relief and rescue operations conducted by various agencies. She highlighted the challenges faced by displaced individuals in relief camps across the state.

In response, President Murmu assured the Governor of all possible assistance to the state.

Governor Uikey also extended an invitation to President Murmu to attend the convocation ceremony of Manipur University.
