Mahaveer Singhvi Addresses DefSat2024 Conference, Highlights India’s Space Sector Growth

Mahaveer Singhvi, Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, expressed gratitude to Satcom India for inviting him to deliver a special address at the DefSat2024 conference.

Singhvi commended India’s space ecosystem, emphasizing its potential for rapid growth, attributed to the government’s progressive policies. He highlighted projections indicating India’s space sector could evolve into a $44 billion economy by 2033.

 

Singhvi’s address underscored the pivotal role of India’s space industry in shaping the country’s technological advancement and economic prosperity. The event witnessed discussions on strategies to further propel India’s presence in the global space arena.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs, also featured prominently in Singhvi’s remarks, reflecting the government’s keen interest and support for the burgeoning space sector.

The conference served as a platform for stakeholders to exchange insights, foster collaboration, and chart the course for India’s ambitious journey in space exploration and satellite technology.
