Madhya Pradesh: PM Modi Unveils Development Projects Worth Rs 7300 Crores in Jhabua

 In a significant boost to Madhya Pradesh’s development trajectory, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday dedicated to the nation and laid the foundation stone for multiple development projects totaling approximately Rs 7300 crores in Jhabua.

These projects are poised to benefit the tribal population significantly and enhance infrastructure across various sectors in the region.

As part of the initiatives aimed at tribal welfare, PM Modi disbursed monthly instalments of Aahar Anudan to around 2 lakh women from specially backward tribes. Additionally, 1.75 lakh adhikar abhilekh (record of rights) were distributed to beneficiaries of the SVAMITVA Scheme, ensuring land ownership documentation.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana, PM Modi transferred Rs 55.9 crores to 559 villages for diverse developmental activities.

Further, he inaugurated the ‘CM Rise School’ and laid the foundation stone for the Tantya Mama Bhil University, aimed at providing modern education facilities to the youth from tribal-dominated districts.

Addressing water supply challenges, PM Modi launched various projects including the Talavada Project, benefiting over a thousand villages, and several urban water supply schemes under the AMRUT 2.0 initiative.

He also inaugurated the ‘Nal Jal Yojna’ for 50 Gram Panchayats in Jhabua, ensuring tap water access to thousands of households.

Rail and road infrastructure received a significant impetus with PM Modi dedicating and laying the foundation stone for various projects, including railway station redevelopment, rail line doubling, and road widening initiatives.

These projects are set to enhance connectivity and boost economic development in the region.

Accompanied by dignitaries including the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Mangubhai C. Patel, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, and Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda, PM Modi’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and development across Madhya Pradesh.
