Shimla/New Delhi, 5th Feb.
Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Youth and Sports Affairs Anurag Singh Thakur visited Himachal on Feb 3, 2024. After arriving at Dharamshala airport, Anurag Thakur discussed various political issues with the media.

In response to a question regarding Delhi’s Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal, Anurag Thakur stated, “Delhi Police visited Arvind Kejriwal’s house following his accusation of BJP engaging in horse-trading of its MLAs a few months ago. Arvind Kejriwal ji should provide evidence of this accusation as his own spokesperson claimed to possess audio evidence. Today, he should present this evidence to the country; otherwise, he will once again be proven to be dishonest. Arvind Kejriwal has faced criticism in the past and has been exposed. He has apologized multiple times to leaders and courts for spreading falsehoods. Arvind Kejriwal should produce evidence promptly or issue another apology to the country and the Bharatiya Janata Party.”

Anurag Thakur further remarked, “Arvind Kejriwal fabricates allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party to divert attention from his involvement in a liquor scam. The Enforcement Directorate has summoned him five times, yet he has not appeared. He has endorsed the integrity of his ministers, all of whom are currently incarcerated without bail. The public now understands that the Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal engage in corruption and deceit.”

“In both 2014 and 2019, the public demonstrated their rejection of corrupt individuals. In 2024, under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party will secure even more seats. During Modi ji’s ten-year tenure, over 25 crore individuals have risen above the poverty line, elevating the nation’s prestige.”

“Mamta Banerjee aptly observed that justice is not prevailing within the Indi alliance. ‘Hatred is being peddled under the guise of love.’ This discontent led Nitish Kumar ji to part ways, and now Mamata Banerjee predicts that Congress will not secure even 40 seats. It is evident that Congress will fail to make an impact in West Bengal.”

“Recent statements from DK Suresh and prominent Congress leaders in South India indicate that Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge ji have encouraged their followers to spread divisiveness. Indi alliance leaders and Congress MPs aim to divide the nation along regional and caste lines. However, the public will resoundingly reject their agenda. The Bharatiya Janata Party has shielded the nation from Congress’ corruption and will continue to oppose their divisive tactics.”

“Today, a new Chief Minister has been sworn in Jharkhand. I question Mr. Rahul Gandhi: should action not be taken against corrupt individuals like the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren? However, expecting integrity from Rahul Gandhi is futile, as he himself is on bail for corruption charges. Nitish Kumar ji has liberated himself from RJD’s corruption and thuggery, distancing himself from the Indi Alliance due to the absence of justice.”

“A news portal reported the cancellation of a deal for 31 Predator drones by America, but the following day, America refuted this claim, exposing a negative propaganda-driven ecosystem designed to divert attention from genuine issues through lies.”

“Mallikarjun Kharge ji’s words in the House unveiled the truth. The Congress Party President acknowledges that, under Modi ji’s leadership, their party may exceed 400 seats. This illustrates Congress’ current predicament. After securing a majority government in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, we aim to achieve the same nationwide for the third time.”

“The country and the world hold high expectations for Modi ji, and we are committed to fulfilling those expectations. We will accelerate the nation’s development, propelling us from the fifth to the third largest economy globally. This progress will primarily benefit the impoverished. Over the past decade, 4 crore needy individuals have received permanent housing, 12 crore toilets, 13 crore tap water connections, 10 crore Ujjwala gas connections, health insurance of ₹5 lakh for 60 crore people, free food grains for over 80 crore people, and 220 crore free vaccines. This momentum will continue to grow. An additional 2 crore pucca houses will be provided, Asha workers and Anganwadi workers will receive health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh, and the youth will be encouraged in research and innovation with One lakh crore rupees fund. ₹11,11,111 crore will be given to strengthen India’s infrastructure. Religious and general tourism will be promoted, and the sports budget has tripled.”
