In a direct message posted on X (formerly Twitter) addressing @POTUS (President of the United States), Lord Ranger wrote: “Mr President, when you impose punitive tariffs they actually harm the United States of America as extra cost is pushed on to the American consumers thus fueling inflation. The retail sector can suffer job losses thus increasing the cost to the States.”
Lord Ranger’s critique extended beyond domestic economic impact, highlighting the geopolitical consequences. He warned, “More importantly, you push America’s allies to other countries due to your erratic behaviour.” His post tagged relevant US and Indian government entities, including @CommerceGov (US Department of Commerce), @DoC_GoI (Department of Commerce, Government of India), and @PiyushGoyal (India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry).
