Land Registration Now Possible up to 100 Meters from Faridabad Airforce Station

Chandigarh, 16th March. Now registry of land properties can be done up to a distance of 100 meters from Faridabad Air Force station.

Congress MLA Neeraj Sharma during the Question Hour in the budget session of the Vidhan Sabha on Monday said that only illegal construction within 100 meters of the Air Force station was banned by the High Court.

There is no restriction on the registration of plots and buildings in this area. However, on the demand of the officials of Dabua Air Force Station, the Defense Ministry has given permission to repair basic facilities in this range.

Replying to Neeraj’s statement, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that construction work cannot be done within a radius of 100 meters. He said that MLA Neeraj Sharma has taken cognizance of the registry in this area. Therefore, after the subject inquiry by the government in 24 hours, it will be ensured that the registry of land properties is done upto 100 meters from the Air Force station and after that the end of the land property is also recorded in the revenue record.

Dushyant said that there is such a ban in Ambala, Sirsa, Gurugram, Faridabad near the Air Force. Some officials had banned the registry of land properties within this area. The MLA said that strict action should be taken against such officials.

MLA Neeraj Sharma thanked Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala for the important announcement regarding opening of registry within 100 meters radius.

He also urged Chief Minister Manohar Lal that when the Defense Ministry has given permission for maintenance of basic facilities within a radius of 100 meters, then the state government should also facilitate sewerage, water drainage and road construction. The MLA also suggested forming a committee under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary in this area.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal also gave a positive reply to the MLA in this regard.

MLA Neeraj Sharma has also met Defense Minister Rajnath Singh along with Air Force officers in this regard. He had also sent a letter from Chief Minister Manohar Lal to the Defense Minister.
