Lakhimpur Kheri Violence Case: Ashish Mishra’s Three Days Police Remand Begins, SIT will Interrogate

Lakhimpur, 12th Oct. Ashish Mishra, son of Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni, arrested in Lakhimpur Kheri violence case, was brought to Reserve Police Lines. Ashish will be in police remand for three days from today.

Let us tell you that the court has sent Ashish Mishra on three-day police remand in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of UP Police had arrested Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni, on Saturday after about 12 hours of interrogation in connection with the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri on October 3. He was sent to jail in judicial custody.

In the case of death of eight people including four farmers in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence on October 3, an FIR was registered against Ashish and others in Tikunia police station in other related sections including murder.
