New Delhi, 17th July: A delegation of Special Envoys from the Republic of Korea (ROK), led by Kim Boo Kyum, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi recalled his recent positive interaction with ROK President Jaemyung Lee. He reaffirmed India’s unwavering commitment to further advancing the India–ROK Special Strategic Partnership, which is currently celebrating its tenth year. The Prime Minister highlighted the continuous growth of this partnership across various crucial sectors, including innovation, defence, shipbuilding, and skilled mobility.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Prime Minister Modi shared, “Delighted to receive the delegation of Special Envoys from the Republic of Korea led by Kim Boo Kyum. Recalled my positive meeting with President @Jaemyung_Lee last month. India–ROK Special Strategic Partnership, which completes 10 years, continues to grow from innovation and defence to shipbuilding and skilled mobility. Close collaboration between the democracies contributes to peace, stability, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.”
