Bengaluru, 15th Jan. The Karnataka BJP president, B Y Vijayendra, has appointed new heads for the party’s 39 district units in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
As per the list released by the state BJP, S Harish, the former deputy mayor of Bengaluru, has been appointed as the president of Bengaluru North. Sapthagiri Gowda, who contested the BJP’s Gandhi Nagar assembly constituency, will serve as the president of Bengaluru Central. C K Ramamurthy, the MLA of Jayanagar, will take charge as the president of Bengaluru South.
Other notable appointments include L Nagendra as the president of the party unit in Mysuru City, L R Mahadevaswamy in Mysuru Rural, Gita Sutar in Belagavi City, and Subhash Patil in Belagavi Rural.
The BJP has also named Thippanna Majjagi as the president of its unit in Hubballi-Dharwad, Ningappa Suttagatti in Dharwad Rural, Sathish Kumpala in Dakshina Kannada, and Devaraj Shetty in Chikkamagaluru.
