New Delhi, 8th June. Bollywood actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut has sparked controversy with her recent remarks condemning supporters of a physical assault(Slap) on her by a female CISF constable. The incident has escalated into a legal matter, with stringent action being pursued against the constable involved.
Expressing her displeasure, Ranaut took to Twitter today to criticize those backing the constable, who slapped her at Chandigarh airport. In a stern comment, she questioned whether those supporting the incident would react similarly if someone was subjected to rape or murder.
Ranaut tweeted, “Every rapist, murderer, or thief is always driven by a strong emotional, physical, psychological, or financial reason. No crime is ever committed without a cause, yet they are branded guilty and sentenced to jail. If you sympathize emotionally with criminals, you are encouraging crime by violating all the country’s laws. Remember, if you agree to enter someone’s personal space, touch their body without their consent, and attack them, you are also consenting to rape or murder because it is no big deal. Or just poking with a knife is no big deal; you should deeply reflect on your psychological criminal tendencies.”
