Justice Bhattacharjee Sworn In as Meghalaya High Court Judge

Shillong, 31st July: Justice Biswadeep Bhattacharjee was sworn in on Thursday as a judge of the High Court of Meghalaya, in a ceremony held on the High Court premises.

Chief Justice Indra Prasanna Mukerji administered the oath of office to Justice Bhattacharjee. His appointment to the bench of the Meghalaya High Court was officially made on July 30, 2025.

With this swearing-in, the judicial strength of the High Court of Meghalaya has increased to four judges, a count that includes the Chief Justice himself. The ceremony was attended by other judges, senior advocates, members of the bar, and various court officials.
