New Delhi, 6th March. Justice Amit Sharma was sworn in as a permanent judge of the Delhi High Court on Monday. Justice Amit Sharma was sworn in by Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma.
The ceremony was held in the judges’ lounge in front of other high court judges and lawyers.
The Supreme Court Collegium recommended on February 15 that Justice Amit Sharma be appointed as a permanent judge of the high court, and the Centre confirmed his appointment on March 3.
The high court currently has 45 judges, including 10 women, out of a maximum of 60.
