Mathura, 25th Feb: Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram on Wednesday visited the renowned Shri Banke Bihari Temple in Mathura district and offered prayers to Lord Krishna, seeking peace, prosperity and well-being for the nation.

Following the temple visit, the Minister inspected a potato cold storage facility in Bas Amru village under the Sadabad Assembly constituency in Hathras district. He reviewed storage arrangements, cold chain systems and infrastructure available to farmers.

During the inspection, he directed officials and management to prioritise farmers’ interests, expand storage capacity and maintain transparency in operations.

Interaction with Farmers
The Minister also interacted with local residents and potato farmers in Bas Amru village. Farmers raised issues related to fair pricing of produce, enhancement of storage facilities and effective implementation of government schemes.

Listening to their concerns, Oram assured them that the Central Government remains committed to improving farmers’ income and strengthening agricultural infrastructure. He said various schemes are being implemented to ensure better support and facilities for cultivators.
